In this episode, with Jill Woods, we talked about why health professionals often see marketing as a dirty word, and Jill clarifies the way we can re-frame this and use it for the good of the profession. We also talk about the pros and cons of social media, discuss some of the different platforms (the big 4!) available and how to use them, and ultimately how they can be used for good by all, even our professional/governing bodies.

About Jill Woods:
Jill first worked in marketing in 1988, long before the internet and before she had ever heard the word podiatry. Since then she has worked in a number of marketing specific roles, trained as a podiatrist, worked as an associate, run her own private practice & taught podiatry (including the UK’s first podiatry business module). She has gained a Masters in adult training & education and started 5 different online & offline businesses in an attempt to find something that would fit with her nomadic life as a military wife, which has taken her to 3 continents, 5 countries & 12 homes in 16 years.
