In this episode we were joined by Rani Lill Anjum & Alex Murray. Rani is a research fellow and leader for the Centre for Applied Philosophy of Science at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. She is also the PI for CauseHealth, a project focused on rethinking causality, complexity and evidence in health sciences. Alex is a Podiatrist based in Canberra. He is the Director of Podiatry Systems, a company dedicated to producing high quality CPD for Podiatrists, and is a communication/education partner of CauseHealth. They both joined us to muse about how confident we can/should be about the causes and effects we see in clinic, the context within which we should view the conclusions of RCTs, and how we should embrace patient uniqueness and complexity when formulating management plans.
